You might also want to see if your LQS has a Judy certified teacher. This is one area that I really think (if you can) taking a class really helps. Judy does things (such as cutting your fabric) a little differently but I have several friends who do her patterns and said that taking a class has really helped them. They did that with the first and now they are converts
