i agree with everyone else, it is doable. I do not sort my fabric by color. I sort by size. I measured each piece and put in stacks. I prefer sorting this way because I hate it when I find a piece I really want to use in a quilt and it is not large enough. At least with it sorted by size I am not wasting my time looking. Good luck.
