After flipping out over Quiltville quilts I realized that variety adds so much interest. I was an all one color/fabric girl for background, but have changed that up and glad I did. I mix in white/creams/neutrals. I'm not as wild as Bonnie but I like the variety of prints in my neutrals. In my mind it just makes it more interesting. On the other hand, I suggested a friend do a quilt for her grandgirl who is going away to college. College colors are red/white. She is so intimidated I am going to mix up the reds for her, but not the whites. We will use a Bella for the white.
