You found one great bargain. I used to own a 1+ until I upgraded to a Designer S E to get larger hoops. I wish I didn't use the 1+ as a trade-in because it is a great machine. Mine cost $3400 in Oct. 1998. Did you get the manual? If not, you might be able to get one from
