I agree completely!!
Plus, I think that many of us have gotten to the point that our own craftsmanship is just as good (or better!!) than what is being displayed in the show. I'm planning on going to the AQS show in Charlotte at the end of July, but that's because it IS a big show (and I really only usually get to the smaller shows) AND because my boss-lady is interested, so I'm "escorting" her and her daughter to this one, so they can see just how big quilting really is.

It always tickles me when someone says "Quilting is a dying art", and I'm like "Oh really? A $3.5 BILLION/year industry is dying?!?"

Still, I'm hoping that seeing the show through a "fresh perspective" will create some new inspiration for myself.
