Getting their early is my advise, it gets very crowded as it is a very small town and parking also gets to be a big issue. Also it gets hot. I have been a couple of times but have heard locally that most quilters don't send their special or good quilts because some of the quilts are low enough to be touched and chocolate ice cream cones can do a lot of damage to a quilt.
My biggest problem is that you can't hardly get into the quilt shop, we drove to Bend to get fabric and still had to wait in line for 1/2 an hour. Maybe it is a good novelty thing to do, it gets a lot of press, and yeah it is nice to go once.
