Hello. My name is Cindy. I have been quilting for about 10 years,but really got serious in the last 2-3 yrs. I hand quilt and machine quilt. My mother quilted and my 93 yr old mother-in-law still quilts. I have done about 7 queen to cal king size quilts. a baby quilt ( new grandson ), and several small projects. I'm pretty much self taught with the help of books and tutorials..where I live there are very few quilting classes.
I just turned 60 and have been retired for 2 yrs from nursing. I have two grown children (daughter and son) ,four grandsons including our precious 4 month old.
Right now I am stuck on a Double Wedding Ring quilt. I don't particularly like the colors (pretty neutral),but they match the room its going in. It's a chore to make myself work on it. Any one else go throughthis? How did you cope?
