Default Denim Quilts made with mixture of stretchy and non stretchy denim

There was a question posted on the Main section about using a stretchy denim. It is hard to get the traditional denim now a days when so many denim pants are made with that stretchy stuff (which I adore because it is so much easier to wear). So I have made about 6 different denim quilts out of a mixture of both and they have turned out great. Here are two of them. One frayed and one not. I only washed the frayed one once before giving it away so you can see that it still frays nicely. You do need to be careful of the stretch denim when you are sewing together for a traditional block though. Sort of like sewing on the bias with regular quilting fabric.
