My fabric shelves look just like ksdot417's... I love comic book backing boards. They are so thin they don't take up space in your fabrics, yet keep everything nice and orderly and right in view. They are the BOMB for quilters. I usually store 1/2 yard to 2 yard pieces on them. Anything bigger gets ruler folded and stacked flat. Anything smaller gets folded up in a scrap collection on a shelf or in a bin.
