Yes! All the time. I use it in loose leaf and in my Guild notebook. It comes in so handy for describing a pattern or taking notes. Mead makes a half size notebook with lines on the front of the page an a grid on the back of the page. It has yellow paper. I can't find it in stores so I have to order about 10 pads at a time from Mead.com.
