I don't know where you live, but I'm in Texas & our temps can go from in the teens to over 100 degrees, so I made sure I insulated really good. You're going to love all that space. Yes it is well insulated. I am in MO and gets really cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I will have central air and heat.
