I have to admit - I chuckled when I saw the block - because I know how many times I've done the same thing myself.
I participate in a yearly sewalong for Project Linus where 30-40 of us get together and make quilts for a few hours. We've done this for 15 years and it never fails - I ALWAYS get the rows messed up at least once and have to rip them apart and re-sew.
