I too have done 'block-ectomies' and I posted one on the board some time ago. At least you didn't have to rip out a whole block and reformat it from the finished quilt top !!! I had to do that with an on-point thing that was all bias. Big pieces but still needed to be tamed to get them back together again nice and flat.

Like you, I can laugh at it. I look at everything I do in quilting as some measure of fun and a full measure of satisfaction. Otherwise ...shhhh it will be a UFO...don't tell on me!
