You're hilarious! Never lose your sense of humor and you will cope well with life's bumps. As for the "air bubbles" you asked about. My guess is, they are not so much air bubbles as places where the fabric did not stick to the interfacing. Try heating again and see if it sticks. (Unless you got it too hot and ruined the glue.
