BTW - if anyone is interested. This machine was made by Standard/Osann from about 1919-1938. Osann took control of Standard, and Osann was eventually bought out by Singer, but that happened in the late 30's. When Singer took over, they marketed this design as a 128-8 for a while before discontinuing it all together. They were sold to European distributors under several different names - Harris, Hexagon, Nelson . . . From what I've read, all the manuals have 1919 as the date on them, so I guess it never got updated from the original printing.
