This might be your first quilt, but it wont be your last. Remember YOU ARE A QUILTER and a quilter only uses ideas (that we like or that make us happy not rules), when making a quilt you have the ability to change anything about the quilt and sewing up to the time that quilt leaves your hands. You can always take your quilt top (that at this time is not meeting what you had in mind), and cut new blocks out of what you have done. Then put it back together again, now it's something different again. NO rules, you are in charge - quilt patterns are just ideas!!!!! That YOU bring to life. Happy sewing.
