I hate picking apart seems, even though I have lots of experience with it. Are the sewn-together bits big enough to lay a square ruler between the seams and cut new squares a little smaller (9" or so)? You could pick other squares from your stash to go with them to get your quilt to the size you want. I hate for you to push on through and end up with a quilt you don't like.
