Sometimes I think it is the fabric itself. I have a UFO that I need to work on someday lol. Anyway. I made the blocks from all pastel Gingham fabric, and some of the blocks were either too small or just a tad larger than need be, I haven't worked on it in about 4 yrs, so I can't remember exactly, but they were off when I started putting the rows together. Al were definitely carefully cut exactly and all had 1/4" seams. I even ad a friend check them also. We finally decided it had to be the material and the weave of some of the gingham. I redid some blocks and starched heavily before cutting, but still had problems. Maybe when I get in the mood to tackle something nerve wracking I will go back and finish this quilt.
