Time you did then Rodney. The VS is a very very strong and capable machine. Mine goes through almost any fabric easily, and does buttonholes really well (with a 20th century buttonholer). It gets used a lot because it's always ready to go (treadle). No lifting it onto the table or unpacking anything. Another thing is that lovely double click sound as it works its magic, and of course it's beautiful to look at. What more encouragement do you need? Go try her out
