One of my favorite books and one of the first purchased is ' Quick and Easy Quilt Making' by That Patchwork Place. It taught me how to perfectly cut, piece ,sew , many traditional blocks and patterns. I swear these women were ahead of their time. The patterns are gorgeous! This book was written in 1993 and has 26 projects by Mary Hickey, Nancy J. Martin , Marsha McCloskey & Sara Nephew. It is and always will be 'my-go-to-book.' Just because it was written in 1993, there are cutting diagrams that are precise i.e. half square triangles that are the right size and not warped and already pressed! These ways are used by the master quilt makers of today.
