That would mean $10,000 or so for the long-arm set-up. Which is about what some long-arm set-ups cost. I have nothing yet (just my Bernina 153QE) - but had thought if I got the Sweet 16, I could then upgrade to a long-arm later. Wonder if the difference in the smoothness is the basting vs the quilt laying on the frame? Thanks for the info.
