That's what I also come up with.

I used the "high-tech method" of measuring the pieces on my computer screen to get the (approximate) ratios of the pieces.

The cross pieces seemed to be the same length as the long pieces and three long pieces seemed to be the width of the cross pieces.

So the finished sizes of the cut pieces could be: 2 x 6 (cut size: 2-1/2 x 6-1/2) -
With the popularity of the jelly rolls (2-1/2 inch strip packs), this would seem to be a likely choice for the size.

There are other possibilities, all using the same ratios:

Finished size of piece: 1 x 3 (cut size: 1-1/2 x 3-1/2)
Finished size of piece: 1-1/2 x 4-1/2 (cut size: 2 x 5)
Finished size of piece: 2-1/2 x 7-1/2 (cut size: 3 x 8)
Finished size of piece: 3 x 9 (cut size: 3-1/2 x 9-1/2)
