I try to do this after every project as well, but I don't cut them into shapes. I gather them and lay them out flat so they don't have to be ironed again, saves time there, and put them in totes.

Your squares look great and so much better than tossing them. Look at all that fabric you saved! When we spend up to 14.99 and more for fabric throwing in the trash just does not appeal to me
