Hi Everyone!
I am a new quilter and have only been quilting for a few months. I am taking a 6 lesson class with a master quilter (Sue Cameron) and cannot believe how much I am learning! I would definitely recommend classes to absolute beginners. I have three projects on the go, my class quilt which is a sampler; a bright cheery (very easy) one for myself; and a baby quilt for my new grand daughter who was born on June 24th. The baby quilt is in the final stages (just looking for a nice backing) and the other two are about half way complete. Unfortunately, here in SA, we don't have as many resources as you have in the US so forums like this are extremely helpful. So expect lots of questions and advice from me!
