Churn Dash is my all time favorite block. I had 'Dave Snow' make me a barn quilt to go on my house and I used the Churn Dash block. It is so lovely. The gal who owned my favorite quilt shop said it was her favorite block, also, so I had 'Dave Snow' make a barn quilt for her, too. There's something about it. It can be scrappy, traditional, wonky, modern, etc. and I love them all. The one that bothers Jan so much, is something else, all right, but if you took just one of any of the blocks and made a quilt with it, I think even Jan would appreciate it. It is too busy for me as well.
