Be patient with me ....truly I am really slow with this stuff. I have never seen that bar on screen.
Click on "Settings" up top, then on the next page, click on "General Settings" on the left. On the next page, scroll all the way down to the last section "Misc. Settings", and put a "dot" next to the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get!)
Message Editor Interface option. Then scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Changes". Close out your browser, reopen it, and you should see the "tree"!
