I’m know that there have been several needle types discontinued over the years, but I haven’t done enough research to learn what obsolete needles would benefit the machines that I have. I’m not even up to speed on the substitute needles that have been found/developed to take the place of obsolete needles in some cases, so I’m not much help in figuring out the “most likely candidate” for custom manufacturing.

I agree that to justify the expense, it would best be one that is “nearly impossible” to find, and also in high demand.
