Any ideas on glue?
I just got a Singer 500 and the cord is damaged. The cord is actually functional and the wires are still in place but the molded part of the cord is split open. I would like to glue it and possibly use some shrink tape over that for reinforcement. I'm not sure what kind of glue would be best for this. The break is a clean tear through the rubber so if I use the right thing I am hopeful for a good repair.
Any ideas what I should use?
