Special block for Mariner's nearly done...
I've been working on my Mariner's Compass quilt for two years now. Others' quilts always seem to take priority. At the end of the BOM, they gave us six bonus blocks & the option to buy "Lucky Star". We purchased that pattern and I made up the block this past few days while waiting for a new ruler I needed for trimming big blocks for another quilt I'm working on. I've got to go back to the other quilt now, as I've got to have it done before the middle of August. I trimmed the remaining blocks today. I've only got four more blocks to make for my Mariner's quilt now though. This Lucky Star block will go right in the center of the Mariner's quilt blocks! :-)
