I save the plastic zipper bags that my new sheets and bedding come in. I put together "kits" (fabrics, thread patterns, etc), which I can grab and work on when we travel. The bags are then used to store the projects in progress, keeping everything together. Hubby is a professional drag racer, so we are on the road sometimes 2 weekends a months. Today we are sitting at the track and it is raining and not looking like we will get too much in today. BUT I get to pull my Brother Inovis 1250D and work on 3 in-the-hoop mini iPad cases to be given as Christmas gifts. I also brought a "kit" based on a MSQC I saw Jenny do a few weeks ago. As much as I love racing, a rain day at the race track is nice, not like at home because I have no laundry here, no housework (except picking up around the motor home, nothing like a 3000 foot 4 bedroom house), and hubby goes visiting with the other racers leaving me to enjoy my sewing vacation.
