I am copying a former post about a pattern that I have made literally dozens and dozens of tops from for Project Linus tops. It makes large print fabrics up in no time or you can substitute 4 or 9 patches for the center as well. It is my go-to pattern!

Potato Chip Quilt so named because you can't make just one. Cut 8.5" squares and sew 2.5" strips on all four sides. Then just sew the blocks together. . . OR: Cut finished 10.5" square in half twice; once north to south and again west to east. Turn two diagonal "new" blocks around 180 and stitch back together.
