What a great family history you have. Your Great grandfathers baby quilt, amazing. I noticed your avatar in another thread you posted to, didn't want to hijack the thread so I didn't ask about it. First I want to say I just love your design and your use of color. Is that ever going to become a quilt in real life? The Board is full of kindred spirits so I'm sure you will feel right at home.
