Default sewing room

I worked in my sewing room over the weekend cleaning and going through things.
I wondered if everyone's looks as full as mine. NOPE.
I checked. I read here she does not like her space.

I think her space is great.
I am wondering if they even use the rooms that are all beautiful and decorated. They are so neat and tidy nothing out of place. well I am here to tell you I live all over my sewing room. I do hand work while watching tv in the evening, sitting in my recliner. I have a large oak table as my sewing table. Every wall has either cupboards or shelves for fabric and stuff.
I used to have 3 rooms in my basement until 2008 when we had a flood in the basement and I washed 52 loads of fabric and lost many things.
My room is now what used to be the family room.
One of the things we did this weekend was to hang 2 5ft. sections of old ladder from the ceiling. The baskets are great for keeping projects together. I needed a place to hang little quilts. Why have them if I can't see them? This room makes me happy.Yes it is cluttered, yes it is full but I feel blessed to have this space and all my stuff.
The fabric will never be neat and tidy because I am always pawing through it. I love looking for just the right piece for a project. It is like shopping in my own house. And of course it never goes back in the same place.
There are a lot of other things in the room because of my doll clothes and hat making.
Nothing matches in my room it is a hodge podge of things. Most just stuff I re-purposed to use here. There best part of the room is the 2 new sliding doors on each side of the room. love to watch the birds while I stitch.I am Blessed. judy j
