Raggiemom

I am making the Modern Tote (F&P Love of Quilting March/April 2014 issue p 22). It calls for Timtex. I tried using Pellon Peltex 72F and my machine about had a heart attack. This is Double Sided Fusible Extra Firm Stabilizer. I'm guessing it's too firm for what I'm trying to do. Is there a better Pellon substitute?
