Terriamn, Im so sorry to hear that. My mom died in 1991 when I was just 42...My twin brother and I weren't born till she was in her 40's. I often regret not spending more time with my mom when she got older. I worried more about work and "life" problems...I guess I expected my mom to always be there..Im sure your mom will do fine, hope she follows thereapy and gets up and moves so she doesn't get "stiff".. Enjoy the time with her and your family and thank God you still have your mom!
