It's been years since I made anything that wasn't a quilt, so I had to think about each step, but I wouldn't say it was complicated. 2 things -- I chose a fabric that was directional and had to make certain the lettering stayed the same direction (extra thinking) and I have a sewing machine that didn't mind several layers when I was sewing on the binding. The pattern was helpful in keeping track of the directional fabric. Hope this helps!
What kind of machine did you use to go through the layers? I know I have read on here where some have machines that have trouble with multiple layers, especially stiff stabilizers.
