How about a panel quilt? I usually take the center panel, batting and back and quilt it. Then I add 10 to 12 inches of material, top, batting and back on each side, then do the same on top and bottom of the quilt. Quilt and add binding. I can do this in one day as long as I have all the materials (fabric, spray glue, batting) for the quilt, and you end up with about 60 x 70 depending on the size of the panel. This is also a great way for kids quilts, Cinderella, animals etc.
