I have a 1907 Singer treadle (great- grandmother's) and recently received a Singer 15-88 treadle, circa 1950's, from my boss' mother, both with cabinets. Now a friend offered me a 1926 White treadle and I turned her down thinking enuf is enuf and I don't have a place to put it. In telling my DH about it, his response was, "you should have taken it. We would have found room." My jaw bounced on the floor....just when I think I have him figured out, he changes the rules again!
