Eco-friendly PLA Fiber batting question
I bought a twin size package of this stuff several years ago - think it was on sale at JoAnn's - it's from mountainmist and says 100% PLA fiber made from renwable resource corn. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it - quilted, washed, etc - and how it's held up and how it feels and if it's hot like polyester. I don't want to risk a quilt with it - my bravery apparently ended the minute I got home LOL! It feels sorta like polyester to me with the light weight and just the overall feel of it.
moving stuff around and it's unbelievable how much poly batting I have-I live in Houston and it's too hot here for poly except for maybe 20 days a year! sigh...
