It's always fun to see other people's work areas, thank you for being brave enough to post pictures. You can't see the surface on anything in my sewing room right now. It got full of things from cleaning the downstairs for Christmas company. Now that Christmas is over, I need to tackle that room.

I love the idea of having two sewing machines set up in one room. I have been a die-hard Janome lover since I got my first one about 12 years ago (I have a Jem also). I love both Janome machines. Well, I went to Vermont Quilt Festival this year and took a class where a local quilt shop provided Bernina 440 sewing machines for the class. I did some stippling on it and OMG, did it do a wonderful job. I get loops on the bottom using my Janome machine. I know that changing the tension will help, but why do that when a Bernina can do a fantastic job with no adjustments! So now I have a Bernina machine on my wish list to do machine quilting. :-)
