Hello, and welcome from Missouri! I learned how to sew when I was in school, but Mom wouldn't let me use her machine because I always messed up the tension! Honest - I never touched anything. My sister has that machine now, and I used it this last summer, and I messed up the tension! But I NEVER touched anything! That machine does NOT like me! I can sew on other older machines and not have that problem! That old Kenmore just has it in for me!
Didn't start quilting until 1990ish!
