I had similar die lot issues too in December. The Kona cotton I used to match to my daughter's school uniform (she can't wear polyester, so I make her dresses to match) is a dark purple shade now and not a dark blue. Couldn't go with that one! I had to switch to another brand of fabric to get close the the colour, but we don't like the hand of it as well as we did the Kona cotton.
