I don't think it's a true Hunter's Star block but looks like a variation of it. Hunter's Star block usually has two arrowhead shapes in each block section.
Looks like only the blocks on edges don't have that second arrowhead in each section....it is hunters star...
I guess I am a bit surprised that it made the cover if a national magazine....seems like a "lazy" way of doing a great design......jmho
