The Damascus and Damascus Grand are two on my "wish" list. I don't have a full size VS National made machine, or a regular rotary National made machine. I do have a 3/4 size VS and the two spool. . . .
Damascus was a "name" used by Wards, along with Burnswick and later Signature. Most of what I've seen (dating from before National went out of business) are National made machines.
