It would be obvious the dealer lied to you if he did pull up the stitch time and count after telling you there was no way. But it would take a deceitful dealer to do that. Remember it is your machine and if anyone is pushing buttons on it, ask what are you looking for and why. Don't stay back and wonder.
If this is the same dealer that said there is no way and you find there is.... Find another dealer to buy from!
