I was sewing yesterday and decided to slide my machine to the other side of the table so I could watch TV. The machine had been on a while and my pinky finger brushed up against the hot light bulb. It only took a second before I realized that my finger was on touching the light bulb.

I never knew those bulbs got so hot. It raised a small blister on my finger and stung for a while. Be careful out there. The light bulbs are as dangerous as the rotary cutters and the needles. I didn't think I needed a klutz glove but I might have to get one after all. BTW, I was sewing on my 1992 Bernina 1530.
