I don't use the light on my FW because it gets the metal light cover too hot to touch. Anyone found a LED bulb that will fit the older machines? I have the LED light strip but it gets in my way sometimes.
One of my friends found someone who makes an LED bulb for the FWs with the bayonet base, but she's had more problems with it than it's worth. Luckily, the guy has replaced the bulb (twice!). Personally, I have never burned myself on the light cover on any of my FWs. And since I said that, I've just jinxed myself and will do it the next time I use one of them.
