In the Master Quilter (I think), Sylvia is getting married. The other Elm Creek Quilters contact everyone she has ever met to gather 6" blocks for a bridal quilt. Sylvia's Bridal Sampler is a pattern book with the quilt patterns for all of the sampler blocks. It is not more of the story. It's so you can make your own version of her sampler quilt. There are other pattern books that go along with the other books in the series as well and they are fun to have to see the actual quilts they are talking about in the books.
