Default Getting an old quilt repaired

My husband has a quilt that he's had for about 20 or so years and it is ripped and some of the blocks are coming undone . I thought I would fix it for him but wouldn't know how to go about it. Would you recommend a site to see how to do so or would it be better to just take it to someone and have it repaired ?
