My "New" Singer 403A
I thought I had posted this before, but apparently, I did something wrong! LOL! It isn't the first time and most assuredly will not be the last time!
I had not intended on purchasing any more machines -- I just don't have the room or the $$ necessary! But, my son had a day off on Friday. He usually cruises through the GoodWill Store, and lo and behold he found something. He was skeptical, until he opened the plastic case! Inside was a Singer 403A, in excellent condition and extremely clean! No rust! The electrical cords were the original cords and they were in extremely good condition! I've got dead batteries in my camera, so I'll get some new batteries and take some photos! The machine is so quiet (it's gear-driven), and I'm amazed. I have already downloaded an instruction manual (and printed it). I could not find the serial number from the machine on the Singer website. Just looking at the tables on the website, I think this machine was only made for one year! That's purely a guess! I will get some photos posted later!
